L'oggetto di questa review e' il set LEGO 8638 Spy Jet escape che trae spunto dalla scena del film Disney CARS 2 relativa all'inseguimento degli agenti segreti all'aeroporto da parte delle auto catorci ed il loro salvataggio grazie all'intervento del jet SIDDELEY.
Il set viene venduto in una scatola di dimensioni medio-grande ed e' rivolto ad un pubblico con eta' compresa tra i sette ed i dodici anni; presenta al suo interno un libretto istruzioni e quattro buste di brick per costruire sei personaggi del film Disney CARS 2, ovvero rispettivamente: Cricchetto e Holley Shiftwell, Acer e Grem, parte inferiore di Siddeley, parte superiore di Siddeley e Finn Mcmissile.
Le prime due buste di brick vengono facilmente completate attraverso la costuzione rispettivamente di Holley Shiftwell, Cricchetto, Grem e Acer; si passa poi alla costruzione del jet Siddeley.
L'assemblaggio del jet non e' altrettanto semplice come i quattro personaggi presenti nel set, non che sia proibitivo, ma richiede un minimo di attenzione in più per i vari plate angolati che si sovrappongono per realizzare le ali; inoltre, devo dire che non mi e' piaciuto la soluzione adottata per il posteriore del jet dove per realizzare l'ingresso di un'auto dentro al jet e' stato adottato un plate modificato con cerniera che lascia molte parti del posteriore scoperte e restituisce allo stesso l'impressione di una realizzazione affrettata senza rifinitura.
Da uno sguardo attento, emerge la somiglianza del jet Siddeley con l'aereo presente nel set LEGO CITY AIRPORT 3181 al quale naturalmente sono state eliminate tutte le parti interne per la sistemazione dei passeggeri per lasciar spazio ad un garage auto. Completato Siddeley, resta da assemblare solo l'agente Fin Mcmissile travestito da polizziotto, operazione che non presenta particolari difficolta'.
Terminata la costruzione di tutto il set, ritengo siano da segnalare:

Conclusioni
Il set ha un ottimo raporto prezzo/contenuti, infatti per un prezzo di circa 55 euro si ottengono cinque auto/personaggi del film CARS2 di cui alcuni non presenti in altri set e l'aereo Siddeley, risultando un set molto giocabile. L'unica nota stonata è che si poteva provare a realizzare in modo diverso il posteriore del jet Siddeley.

The object of this review is the LEGO set 8638: Spy Jet escape that was inspired by the scene in the movie CARS 2: the pursuit of secret agents at the airport by jalopy and save them thanks to the jet Siddeley .
The set is sold in a box of medium-sized and it is aimed at an audience with age between seven and twelve years old; inside we can find a booklet and four bags of brick to build six characters from the movie CARS 2, namely respectively (with the order of the booklet): ratchet and Holley Shiftwell, Acer and Grem, the lower part of Siddeley, the upper part of Siddeley and Finn McMissile.
The first two bags can easily completed and gives respectively: Holley Shiftwell, Mater, Grem and Acer; then starts the construction of jet Siddeley.
The assembly of the jet is not just as simple as the four characters in the set, which is not prohibitive, but requires some extra attention to the various angled plate that overlap to make the wings; also, I must say that I do not like the solution adopted for the rear of the jet where to make the entry of a car inside the jet it was adopted a modified hinge plate that leaves many parts of the rear face and returns the same impression of a making hasty without finishing.
From a careful look, shows the similarity of the jet Siddeley with the plane in the set LEGO CITY AIRPORT 3181 which of course have been eliminated all internal parts for the accommodation of passengers to make way to the cars. Finished the assembly of Siddeley, it remains the agent Fin McMissile masqueraded as a policeman, operation that does not present particular difficulties.
Once the construction of the whole set, I think are worth mentioning:

The set has good value for money content, in fact for a price of about 55 euro you get five cars / characters in the film CARS 2 (some of which are not found in other sets) and Siddeley, resulting in a very playable set. The only downsides is that the designer could try out in a different way the rear of the jet Siddeley.

- Ottima giocabilita' grazie all'elevato numero di personaggi (ben sei) presenti nel set
- Il jet Siddeley consente il trasporto, tramite l'accesso dal portellone di un personaggio
- Unico set con dentro contemporaneamente i due Catorci GREM e ACER.
CONTRO
- Il brick che realizza la parte posteriore di Holley Shiftwell poteva esser progettato appositamente e non riciclato con il brick che realizza la parte anteriore di Finn Mcmissile
- Il personaggio Grem nel film CARS 2 e' di colore arancione bruciato e non capisco perche' nel set si e' scelto di realizzarlo di colore rosso.
- Il posteriore/portellone del Jet Siddeley risulta realizzato approssimativamente e non rifinito, lasciando buona parte di questo scoperto.
Conclusioni

- Excellent gameplay due to the high number of characters (six) in the set
- The jet Siddeley allows transport through the access from the tailgate of a cars 2 character
- One set in the same time with the two clunkers GREM and ACER.
AGAINST
- The brick that realizes the rear part of Holley Shiftwell could be specially designed and not recycled with the brick that realizes the front part of Finn McMissile
- The character in the movie CARS 2 Grem is burnt orange, and I do not understand why in this set was chose to make it red.
- The rear/tailgate of Jet Siddeley is approximated and not finished, leaving much of this discovered.
Conclusions
